ORIGIN OF GUESSTURES
Right from the time when venomous snakes bit at each stage in your ascent through the ladder, to purchasing just about any place by simply flinging plastic coloured coins, Board Games have always remained a popular choice of play. Although some of these may or may not require strategizing or fast thinking, here we have a game that not only tests your mental skills but also your acting skills- Guesstures.
As the name suggests, it is a combination of gestures and guesswork and subsequently entails gesturing (miming) and guessing. This game is more or less similar to what we amuse ourselves with in our leisure time – Dumbcharades, the only difference being the topic that is acted out. In Dumbcharades, the topic of miming centers around films, whereas in Guesstures it concentrates on words.
